Desert Diaries: Adventures with Ace & Archie

My husband and I have both grown up in our hometown of the desert and have spent our adult lives living here (currently we are in Hesperia, CA). If you’re unfamiliar with this area, we share the same desert landscape as Joshua Tree and the sunsets here are INCREDIBLE. This post is the first of my Desert Diaries series, and it is my hope to share the adventure and beauty that exists in our hometown.

We decided to make a spontaneous trip up to Big Bear with our pups and decided to stop at a nearby dry lake bed on the way home to take some photos. Ace (black/white male) and Archie (brown/white female) are both rescue dogs and we are prettyyy much obsessed with them. We’re still working on getting them to stay near us whenever we go on an adventure or camping trip, and they actually did really well! Do you have any tips for adventuring with pets?
